Patch
A robot. Built ages ago and sealed in a laboratory beneath a mountain in order to thoroughly evaluate his artifical intelligence, it wasn't until Tereza recovered him that he saw the world above for the first time. Having lived through simulated realities for all of his life until this point, he has much to learn about the real world.
Appearance: His body is entirely artificial; it would be hard to notice this if not for the fact that his skin is comprised of numerous colors pieced together like patchwork. His messy black hair is difficult to comb down, so it sticks up all over. And he has trouble accurately mimicking humans' facial expressions. He usually borrows clothes from Tereza's wardrobe, but a not a lot of her attire fits his smaller figure.
Abilities: His positronic brain is capable of incredibly quick calculations and perfect memorization of anything that he experiences. Can output raw strength equivalent to roughly 100,000 horsepower, but is sorely lacking in combat experience.
Tereza
A witch. Though she may not look it, she's really old. Having lived for countless years, she now spends her days traveling the world and meeting new people. She recently took in Patch, and it seems she knows about his past, though she's kept most of it a secret. For now, she brings him on her adventures so that he can see and experience all that the world has to offer for himself.
Appearance: Crimson red hair and eyes, pale freckled skin, thick black eyebrows. Usually wears a suit (shedding her overcoat and/or vest as necessary), but has an expansive wardrobe to pull from when she desires. Her blood is stained violet owing to the high amount of mana in her bloodstream.
Abilities: Hemomancy, potion brewing, alchemy, telepathy, psychokinesis, unmatched knowledge on robotics and engineering... if you can think of a magic-related skill, she can probably pull it off. She just prefers those that she has the most practice with.
